As the festival is slowly coming to the end I had to go and check it out! And that was also excellent excuse for a biking trip – the September weather right now is just perfect for that!

This is another one of the “castles” you can find in Denmark as slot is translatable into a castle.
It was finished in 1746 and its furnished with 250 years old furniture. Around the castle there is a beautiful park that is open for public viewing.
Borreby Herreborg
Herreborg in Danish means lord’s castle. This place is not “big fairytale” castle, rather a fortified manor house.
