I was almost sure I wouldn’t make it to Tivoli for Halloween this year. My due date is just a few days away, and the weather hasn’t exactly been on my side. But then one afternoon, the sun decided to show up, and my fiancé suggested we go together, a little “last date” as a couple before the baby arrives. He also offered to come along as my emergency backup, just in case the little one suddenly decided it was time to make an entrance. 😄
So off we went! The evening turned out to be lovely. We grabbed some tasty bites at the Tivoli Food Hall and then took a slow, slightly wobbly stroll through the gardens. Tivoli looked charming with all the pumpkins, though we couldn’t help but notice the decorations felt a bit toned down this year. The usual wow factor seemed missing — fewer new setups, more of the same pieces from previous years. Maybe a tighter budget? Still, it was beautiful as always, and I’m glad we didn’t miss it. 🎃✨
