May in Denmark marks the start of festival season – fairs, markets, and random gatherings popping up left and right. One day, we were heading to a forest for a quiet stroll when we noticed an unusual number of old-timer cars on the roads. Then came the signs: TimeWinder Nostalgia Festival.
We had zero clue what that meant. So, of course, we had to investigate.
It turned out that TimeWinder was more than just a car show. It was a celebration of industrialization and everything that came after – think airshow, tractor pulling, army exhibition, vintage cars, and even a camping setup straight out of the 90s.
We genuinely had a good time. Would I go back every year? Probably not. The ticket was 200 DKK for the day, and I’m not enough of a car enthusiast to make it an annual tradition. But as a first-time encounter with this kind of festival? Definitely worth experiencing.
