I recently realized there were still a few trolls around Copenhagen I hadn’t tracked down yet. So, taking advantage of the beautiful weather and my maternity leave, I set off to complete my troll hunt. This time, my adventure brought me to Amager, where I found Sanka Suttetrolden – a troll with a very special diet: pacifiers.
The troll is located right next to playgrounds and a small animal farm, so I’m sure kids will absolutely love visiting. I’ll definitely be coming back once my little one is less of a potato and more of an active toddler 😉
For those of you who don’t live in Denmark, there’s a lovely local tradition here: when a child is ready to say goodbye to their pacifier, you take them to hang it on a tree as a final farewell. This troll beautifully incorporates that custom into his story.
