Kong Artur – Kongelige Teater

Throughout this month and beginning of July, Kongelige Teater is displaying a show called “Kong Artur” in Jægersborg Dyrehave.

I am not really a big fan of theater as such but I really enjoyed this one. What was different about this play is that it takes place in the park – so it is open air play. Even though on the day I went to see it, it was raining a lot  I sat through 2 hours of it with a waterproof jacket on and enjoyed the show. As many of the other people 🙂

It was not a static and boring show I must say. There were horses and motorcycles racing, fireworks and lightning effects and superb songs.

The only minus was that the whole show was in Danish, so sometimes it was hard to understand what actors were shouting. I don’t think it is necessary though to be fluent in it, as you could also enjoy it without understanding it fully.
