Himmelbjerget or Sky Mountain in English is in contarary to what the name might suggest just a hill 🙂
Rømø – widest beach in Europe
Rømø is an island where you can find widest beach in Europe. I ended up there just by accident and it was the best random decision I have made!
Tidal island of Mandø
Mandø is an island close to Ribe. What makes this island amazing, is that you have to plan a trip there according to the tides. Twice a day it is not possible to get there due to a road being underwater!
Ribe – the oldest town in Denmark
Ribe is Denmark’s and Scandinavian’s oldest town, established in the early eighth century.
As Ribe is really old city, you can find a lot of firsts and only’s in this place.
Esbjerg – where “Men Meets the Sea”
Esbjerg – the city itself is nothing spectacular, however the fact that it’s located next to the North Sea and the Wadden Sea National Park, is what makes the place amazing.
Roadtrip in Denmark – visiting top sights in Jutland
This year I decided its time to discover Denmark during summer. Why I didn’t do it during 5 years I am here? “Because what can be interesting in Denmark , huh ?” thinking 😉 And belive me, all my danish friends thought I am crazy to spend my holidays driving through Jutland.
